The Parabolic Team of Universiti Kuala Lumpur led by Dr. Mohd Harridon Mohamed Suffian, Head of Parabolic Team/Director of UniKL Strategic Taskforce Unit, and two UniKL students Muhamad Zaim Ismail and Muhammad Zaim M. Nor received a special award from the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) and the National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA) on October 15, 2011 at Planetarium Negara in conjunction with the 4th Anniversary of Program Angkasawan Negara (SUPAN 4). The award was presented by Y.B. Datuk Hj. Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.

This award was given to commemorate the team’s achievement for being chosen to represent Asia for the Parabolic Flight in Japan scheduled to be held in March 2012.
