UniKL MFI sent two participations for innovation competition in Expo Inovasi Islam 2010. The Expo was organized by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) at Stadium Tertutup Nilai from 26th to 28th September 2010. All products were evaluated based on several criteria such as novelty and innovativeness, contribution to the community, usefulness of the product, potential to be commercialized and presentation of the product.

A lecturer’s project titled “Easy Fire Escape Grill” and a student’s project, “Intelligent Energy Saving Switching System” were sent for the expo. The participation from MFI was managed by Consultancy & Innovation Section, UniKL MFI. Both projects were awarded with bronze medal.
