UniKL Technopreneur Development and Innovation Division (TDID) together with Marketing and Student Affairs Division set up 2 booths at Bukit Jalil Sports Stadium, the venue for this year’s “Karnival Usahawan Desa 2010” organized by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKLW).

YB Datuk Hasan Malek, the Deputy Minister of KKLW paid a visit to UniKL booth earlier this morning and was given a short brief by the senior officers of UniKL TDID and Student Affairs Division. He was very impressed with the efforts shown by UniKL students and staff in promoting their products especially the variety of orange, strawberry, mango and mixed fruit flavored can-drinks, soy source and Nasi Beriani Gam all of which has been produced, developed, and packaged by UniKL MICET at our Taboh Naning Campus in Alor Gajah, Melaka. YB Datuk Hasan was also briefed on the Fire Fighting Robot developed by students of UniKL BMI and the NGV vehicle demo by UniKL MFI.

“Karnival Usahawan Desa 2010” or KUD2010 will be officiated open by YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, our Deputy Prime Minister tomorrow, 24th July 2010. Other VVIPs will be YB Dato’ Seri Haji Shafie Haji Apdal, the Minister of Rural and Regional Development together with senior officials of KKLW and its agencies.
