In conjunction with Hari Pendidik MARA 2010 on June 17, 2010, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) awarded two UniKL Academicians the Anugerah Pendidik Terbilang MARA in recognition of their commitment and contribution towards education. Y.B. Dato’ Seri Haji Mohd Shafie Haji Apdal, Minister of Rural and Regional Development conferred the award to MIIT, UniKL Deputy Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shamsul Anuar Mokhtar for the Research and Innovation Category, while Datin Nor Hafizah Ismail who is also MIIT, UniKL lecturer, brought home the award for University and Community Service Category.
