UniKL teams with their medals. 

ITEX 09 (20th International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition) was a great success with more than 1000 participations. ITEX 09 is now Asia’s leading platform for universities, research institutions, individual inventors and corporate sectors to showcase inventions, new technologies and products.

ITEX 09 which was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from 15 to 17 May 2009 was organized by Malaysian Invention, Innovation and Design Society (MINDS)

UniKL won five awards for all five research projects submitted! It was participated by five teams comprising of three teams from UniKL BMI, one team from IPROM and one team from UniKL MIAT.

“Pilot Debriefing Programme” a project led by Inr. Mohd Harridon B. Muhamed Suffian (UniKL MIAT) won gold award under aerospace & aviation category. This programme has the ability to aid air crash investigation and flight instructors. In fact, this project won two other gold awards, previously at Malaysia Technology Expo 09 (MTE 09).

“KG-Force Hand Grip System” led by Shah Rizailli Mukhtar from UniKL BMI took a silver medal over 40 teams taking part under Biotechnology, Health & Fitness category.
